On Friday we had our first assembly of the school year. The junior and senior infants sang songs to begin. Then Ms. Fallon spoke about a few important items like homework, punctuality, attendance and being a good friend and a good student. The children in 1st and 2nd sang ‘Circle of Friends’ and 3rd and 4th sang an Irish action song they have been learning. The children in 5th & 6th class will perform at our next assembly. It was lovely to be able to use our large g.p room for the assembly.

Today is the last day for the children in 6th class and also the children in Junior and Senior Infants. Fr. Merlyn said a special mass in our school to celebrate. It was a lovely occasion and the children in 6th class played a special part in it by saying the readings and prayers and brought forward symbols of their time spent in our school. We wish them all the best in the future and hope that everyone has a lovely summer.
