Today is the last day for the children in 6th class and also the children in Junior and Senior Infants. Fr. Merlyn said a special mass in our school to celebrate. It was a lovely occasion and the children in 6th class played a special part in it by saying the readings and prayers and brought forward symbols of their time spent in our school. We wish them all the best in the future and hope that everyone has a lovely summer.

Thanking you in advance.
On Wednesday we had our annual music concert. Michael has been taking the 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th class on Wednesdays for music lessons so it was a nice way to finish off the music term. It was a special occasion as it was our first time hosting an event in our new large room and it was great to see so many parents able to make it. Well done to all participants.
Thank you to Martina Beattie(Parents Association) for presenting us with the fabulous glass trophy that was won at the Lanesboro St.Patrick’s day parade. Martina came in with the trophy before Easter and it was a very special occasion as it was our first gathering/assembly in the new GP room. Ms. Fallon spoke to the whole school together and the infants sang a song. It was a lovely way to begin using our new room and we are looking forward to many more events in it.
