For the past week instead of our usual homework the children in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th had the task of creating a nativity scene. They were allowed to be creative and use a variety of materials. Today the children brought the cribs in to school and we are so impressed with the effort that was put in by everyone. Thank you to all the children, parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and minders that helped to create these beautiful cribs. Well done to everyone, it was such an enjoyable exercise!
During the month of October, Padraig from Global Action plan came to talk to 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th about Global citizenship as we prepare for our 6th green flag. It was very informative and interesting.
The senior girls travelled to St. Emer’s on Friday December 1st to play them in their league semi final. They were victorious in that match and went on to win the final. Well done girls, Cashel Abú
Today is the last day for the children in 6th class and also the children in Junior and Senior Infants. Fr. Merlyn said a special mass in our school to celebrate. It was a lovely occasion and the children in 6th class played a special part in it by saying the readings and prayers and brought forward symbols of their time spent in our school. We wish them all the best in the future and hope that everyone has a lovely summer.
